AN "EGG"-CELLENT DISCOVERY!!! (and a give-away!)

I have seen a product on the television that caught my eye.

I sat up and paid attention when the commercial came on.

I watched as women testified of its greatness.

I DID.NOT.BELIEVE.

I did not order.

I did not buy.

I was in Target gathering some half price Easter candy necessities when I saw "IT".

The product that had turned my head a time or two was there on the shelf.

I picked it up.

I read the label.

I saw the price.

$9.99

Sold!

I took it home and waited until the perfect moment to unveil my new found friend.

The company calls it PED EGG.

I call it FABULOUS!

What is it Wendi that you love so about this egg?

Please let me tell you.

This little baby fits in the palm of your hand.

When you open it up you will find something resembling a cheese grater.

Do not be afraid.

The Ped Egg is your friend.

You simply press it on the back of your worn out cracked repulsive dainty heels and GRATE.

I am not kidding. You just go back and forth with PED EGG and it does all the work.

The best part... the top of the case becomes the bottom and it catches all the dead disgusting dry skin that you just exfoliated.

No messy clean up.

I stayed up for hours and just grated away. (yup, that bad!)

The back of my heels use to look like this:

After Ped Egg, they look and feel much more like this.

If you are a regular at Polly's Pedicure Palace you may not need this product.

If you are like me, you have let those heels go long enough.

Join me in my quest for smoother heels and feet.

Go get yourself a Ped Egg.

I am telling you it is worth every penny. All 999 of them.

* Due to the excitement I have experienced over this product, one of you lucky viewers will win a Ped Egg. One of your very own. All you have to do is leave me a comment. (Okay you "lurkers", you can come out now!) Tell me why YOU need a Ped Egg. I will have one of my assistants children pick the lucky winner on Monday, March 31, 2008.

Oh Wendi, I confess that I am a lurker, but I am going to start blogging and commenting more. And I want that Ped-Egg! I saw it on QVC a few days ago, and wondered if it was as good as it looked. And now I know someone who actually has used one !!!!! So I want to be in the running for the prize. And you can't have the drawing on April 31st because there are only 30 days in April. Did you mean March 31st? Just wondered...hope you aren't going to make up wait another whole month to find out the winner!! LOL

Wendi said...

Sorry Joy! I changed it. I meant March 31st. March 31st is the big day!

ALRIGHTY!!

I want to be in the running! I DESPERATELY need one because I chase 4 crazy monsters all day everyday and when we're in public I am usually in heals! It hurts to be beautiful - so why feel good when you could look good?! Anyways, at the end of the day the foot scrubber just DOESN'T do the job right! I would love to have pretty feet again - especially since it's starting to get warm outside and I'll be able to wear open shoes!

So...

PICK ME! PICK ME!

Wendi said...

I want my feet to look like a baby's bum.

Brittany said...

I just saw you yesterday you could have given me mine then!!

Amy said...

I too have watched this on TV many times and been prompted to buy, but did not. Well of course you have to pick me. I have to have pretty feet when I deliver this baby, right? Have pity on a poor pregnant woman!! ha ha....

Ashley said...

I don't let anything touch my feet...I have worked for years getting wonderful calluses on my feet. Yes, I'm weird...but it helps me dance easier. Yay for nasty feet! I can help you pick the winner!

Merde said...

ok, I think I deserve this ped egg. I have seen it on TV and in Bed Bath and Beyond, but I can't bring myself to buy it. Adam always tells me I need to go get a pedi because my feet are gross! SEE MY HUSBAND HATES MY FEET! He is still in school so I can't bring myself to buy one. I think I should get it so i can have my hubby rub my feet and not be grossed out by the calluses(since I am pregnant and all)!!!

Susan Hancock said...

Well, Wendi, I tell you what- I don't want to be in your contest because I am going to buy me one tonight!!! I'm on the way to Leah's for a doctor visit for her baby in the morning. I will tell you what I tell my children to say in a case like this... "My daddy's rich!" I'm gonna just go get one!!

There's a nice story behind the quote, I'll write it when I have more time.

Lyla And Company! said...

Ok Wendi buy one for me and...(drum roll please) you will have a b-sitter whenever you need one!! seriously...even though Chase is 12 there are times he will be busy w/ games or whatever...hmmm...so what to do w/ Claire and Cole!! I have an idea call a Nock and they will be happy to in exchange for a Ped Egg for their mommy!! PICK ME PICK ME!!! AND YOU AND I WILL BE SOOO HAPPY!!! WHOOO HOO!! I'm a poet and didn't even know it!!!

Katie said...

Ok...So, at first glance it probably seems that I am the least deserving of the contestants. I do not chase kids around all day, I can't offer to babysit unless I do it by webcam because I live across the country, and I'm not pregnant (but personally, I think that's an unfair advantage Meredith's got going there). Upon closer inspection, however, I'm sure that you will find that beneath my superficial unworthiness of the ped egg, lies a woman destined to be its owner. Why? Because this woman lives in Utah. Utah is an abbreviation for place so dry every inch of my skin cracks in the winter, and winter will last until about June. Also, this woman stands up all day while teaching the future of America. And, if winter does ever end and she has to wear sandals to do that in, how do you expect the future of America to learn if they are distracted by her nasty, un-pedicured footsies? PLEASE?!?!

Merde said...

Katie,
All I have to say is I live in UTAH ALSO!!! So pregnant and in UTAH. I will also be here for another year AFTER this year! SO what do you have on me now. Your kids might not be able to learn, but my kids won't be able to speak. I think talking is VEYR IMPORTANT! If these kids are distracted by my feet then they will never learn to say river instead of wiva. Come on. Help these little children in need, WENDI! HELP THEM!

Katie said...

Meredith,
You revoked your privelege of playing the Utah card because I used it first. Let the deciding committee note this very fact. Also, your kids will be so focused on learning to speak, they won't have time to look at your feet. My kids, however, know how to say river, and therefore will be more easily distracted. I rest my case. The pedi egg belongs to moi!

Wendi-

I will take a picture of my heels if I need to and send it to you if it will help me win this amazing prize. I too have watched the commercials and was not a believer, but thanks to you, I am. Cameron is saying, "why are your feet like that, mine don't do that." Back before Jackson, I was a faithful 'pedicure getter'. It is quite obsvious now that I no longer indulge myself inj suvh frivolities. As always... love your posts!

I have SO seen those and thought it is just what I need for my not-so-smooth heels! I guess If I'm not picked, I'll just have to see if our local K-mart has them!
BTW I've tagged you.......

Anonymous said...

Well a certain pregnant lady on here who's hubby won't touch her feet and thinks they are nasty.........has my vote for getting one of these!!
All I can say is my heels are dry and nasty...but my hubby will rub them if I ask him :)

I find you all hilarious and a bit silly considering the value of the prize at stake is $10.

I am laughing at the fact that my comment section has apparently been hijacked. It seems you all have taken over and have even resorted to writing personal letters and comments. What is up with that? LOL!

So far I have in the running for the quite valuable and coveted Ped Egg...
Queen B
Joy
Jaz
Wendi (not me, Dancin' Wendi)
Brittany
Amy
Meredith
Lyla
Katie
Courtney
Carrie
and Rebecca

The contest will end on Monday, March 31, 2008. The winner will be announced on April 1...in honor of April Fools Day!

You may continue your verbal name calling and tirades. It is quite entertaining!

Merde said...

Rebecca,

I appreciate your vote. I actually told Adam about this blog and prize and he laughed at me. He told me that if I wanted it that bad he might just have to splurge if I don't win it so my feet weren't so disgusting anymore!
Yeah, what can I say...he loves me!

Anonymous said...

Meredith....if I don't win I think I may splurge on the $9.99 thing :)

I'm not a lurker but I just might have to become one. I've been curious about this whacky infomercial thing. Now you leave me no choice but to buy one.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll check back for more. :)

I NEED one!!!

Kristen said...

Found your site through Classy Chaos!

And I agree with OhMommy, I need one too. My reason though would be that I live where there is around 5% humidity on a regular basis, and that kills your feet! Please, pick me, and help my feet start out the summer is super chic fashion!

Dear Wendi,

As usual I am the last one to do something because I am so distracted by anything and everything on our endless "to do lists" as moms/wives/etc. Anyway, I would like to have my name placed in the drawing so that I can click-clack in style. At present, I dread the thoughts of spring/summer just because of my U G L Y feet! I actuall saw on the TODAY show this a.m. that Kathy Lee Gifford debated over plastic surgery on her face or feet and chose her feet! I would be tempted to do the very same if I could afford it. But, as we both know, I cannot, so I rest my case. PLEASE enter me in the contest for cuter clackers!!!!

This is an excellent blog that is related to Ped Egg that if anyone applies this for their cracked, rough feet which womens don't like this. I recommend that this is the best product one can look for. Further, it is cheaper and anyone can have this.
