MOMMY CAMP

I have a little something to tell you.
Come closer.
I have been sans children today.
Well, almost all day.
Chase is still at Basketball camp.
Cole stayed with my parents for a couple of days.
I came home Monday morning with one child.
Claire.
She is at cooking camp most of the day.
I am at Mommy camp.
I am on a mission.
To unearth my home.
I am pulling out.
Throwing away.
Cleaning up.
Tossing.
Scrubbing.
Organizing.
Everything I can get my hands on.
I am taking full advantage of the free time.
Wait... free time?
What was I thinking?
I should have grabbed a book, gone to the pool, and relaxed.
Nope.
Couldn't do it.
Must. Clean.
I will return tomorrow with the answer to "Where in the world is Chase?" ....and a winner!!!

I thought I scheduled this to post yesterday while I was "unearthing".
I didn't.
This was yesterday's post.
Guess what that means?
You will find out today where Chase was.
I just brought everyone home.
Safe and sound.
I must start on the smelly laundry before me.
And get him to baseball practice at 6:30.
Then... I will be able to let you know who the winner is.
I promise!

You are just too cute Wendi. Did you get your house all done? Doesn't it feel good. Too bad that it doesn't last longer.

I have a question for you. How can a big house get messy when only 2 adults live in it???? (except when Claire, E.J. and Austin come to visit) I don't understand it. I know to always put things back in their place when I'm done using them....so what's the story??? Could you come over and help me organize my sewing and scrapbook rooms? I need you.

Seriously, I leaned into the computer when you said come closer. I am your retarded friend out west. Good Lord!!

Glad to hear that you had at least numerous hours to yourself.

I agree, while poolside does seem the way to go, the OCD girl in me, knows that the only true answer is to clean! :)

Hope you got lots done.

Okay, I can't stand it - where was he??

We're in the middle of the same thing - clean, throwing out, making room...it's exhausting isn't it?

I need to attend Mommy camp...my house looks like the Wreck of the Hesperus...

What is wrong with me that I want some alone time...to clean...I agree with you...I should want to do something fun or relaxing but, cleaning is what I really want to do.
