Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

It is hard to believe that it is Monday again.

And that can only mean one thing.

That's right...Not Me! Monday.

I know.

I am excited too.

I did not enter my second week as a Iamgoingbacktocollege student.

And I most certainly have not felt overwhelmed.

Nope, not me.

I did not get the wrong book for my computer course.

And it definitely did not take me almost a week to figure it out.

The correct book did not set me back $151.00 .

And it did not take me minutes hours a day and a half to figure out the software to complete my assignment.

I did not feel like a complete idiot.

I did not finally get the last of my Christmas decorations in the attic.

I did not leave up this.

Because it just doesn't seem right to take them down.

I have not enjoyed looking at those Christmas cards every. single. day.

My children did not fight and argue so much yesterday that I threatened to make them clean the house if they didn't stop.

Guess who did not stop?

I also did not ask Chase's friend to pray for his soul yesterday.

That would not have been nice.

I did not keep my word and make them clean today.

My children did not learn how to clean baseboards and chair rail.

They did not learn the fine art of loading the dishwasher.

Or unloading.

They did not have to vacuum or sweep.

Not a mirror did they Windex.

Not one child had to lift a finger.

And I am not patting myself on the back.

Just a little.

Cole did not need me to wipe his back side a few minutes ago.

And when I didn't run to his aide immediately...he definitely did not ask me to turn on my listening ears.

I did not fall to the floor in uncontrollable laughter.

What's that?

I know I don't hear my children fighting...there is definitely no more cleaning that needs to be done around here!

What about you?

Are there things you haven't done this week?

You can share all of them at MckMama's place.

Go on.

You know you want to!

Oooh!! Oohhh!! I see my Christmas card on the fridge!! YAY!!!!!!

Or wait.
Because it's not me monday, does that mean I'm supposed to word it:

I did not see my Christmas card on your fridge.

Wendi... put on your listening ear because clearly you need to try Amazon for your school books. Totally spent like 26 dollars on all my books one semester. Just buy used ones.

I love that your Christmas cards are still up. I do love Christmas cards. I pack mine up with my decorations so that when I pull decorations out next year I will see them.

Send your children my way for a cleaning party ok!

PS- What is up with this snow crap that is coming our way. I'm pissed!

Hubby had Izzy cleaning baseboards today, too. Not sure why, but I'm pretty sure she deserved it!

I so am NOT using that as punishment! Not me!

Happy Monday.

Ahhhhh...it feels so good to have a clean house and even better when the kids have to help.
The "listening ears" comment was hilarious! I might have peed my pants over that one.

My little Claire started a blog yesterday. She wants your Claire to visit her and leave her a comment. I hope that Claire will drop by her blog and say hi. She checks for comments every ten minutes....I have no idea where she gets that from????

My mind is filled with "Not me" additions to this hilarious post. However, I have to point it to someone else who did not post the entire rest of the week. Not you? :-)

I do NOT think you are brilliant with having your kids clean the house when fighting. I will NOT steal that idea when mine are older! Haha!
