Friday was a huge day at the preschool.
It was the Valentine's Day/ Dad's Day program.
Where songs would be sung and cupcakes devoured.
Where the hokey-pokey was danced and art work was revealed.

At the bottom of Cole's drawing his teacher wrote what she thought Cole said his favorite thing to do with his dad was.
And of course that would be "pulling up trees".
I am not sure I have ever seen my husband pull up a shrub much less a tree.
When I asked Cole what he told his teacher, his reply was "playing on the Wii".
Pulling up trees...Playing on the Wii.
Yeah...totally the same thing!

That is a really cute story. You should definitely write what he really said on the back and save it. I wonder how many times I did that when I was teaching preschool. Hope the parents got a kick out of it.

See what these evil video game/ blog addictions are doing to our kids? They are ashamed to tell the truth about us so they have to make up these "pulling up tree" lies! ;-)

Too much that little Cole! I love the things they say! MH just said to me this morning - hey! let's play hi-an-cheese. To which I said, what's that? And she said, you know, I find a hiding place and you look for me, and then I eat a piece of cheese while I'm hiding. And I said, oh, do you mean hide and seek? And she said YEAH!!!
There are some things I hope she never says correctly! Hide and cheese can go, though.
