AND THE WINNER IS...ME!!!

You will not believe my luck!

I received not one, but two letters in my inbox today from European lotteries.

How did this happen?

I don't remember playing any European lotto.

I haven't even been to Europe in the last 20 years.

But they found ME!

I am the winner.

A big one at that.

The first letter says that I have won 1,000000.00 GBP, pound sterling.

I have no idea what a 1, followed by 6 zero's is.

They only used one comma.

But hey, that is a lot of zero's...it must be a lot of money.

I also have no idea what GBP, pound sterling is either.

It could mean Great Britain Pounds.

That would be great.

It could also be Ground Black Pepper.

Um...not. so . great.

It has the name of the Barrister on it.

That makes it official.

I am going to think positive.

Here is the first letter.

What do you think?

The second letter I received was from the Europe Awards.

This letter was equally exciting.

I am already planning what I am going to buy with all my winnings.

This was a satellite software email lottery.

I use email a lot.

It was only a matter of time before they found me.

Find me they did.

I won ONE MILLION EURO.

They used all CAPS.

That means they are serious.

This letter was even signed by the President.

Very official.

Read on.

President.
Mr Hiroshema Nikon

I have just emailed Barrister Kel Moye and President Hiroshema Nikon.

I have let them know of my excitement.

I gave them all the information they needed.

Like mailing address, phone number, sex, and occupation.

I also included ALL other pertinent information like my social security number, my banks routing number, my checking and savings account numbers, my blood type and a copy of my will.

The little security symbol was on the screen, so I am sure I had a safe connection.

You have to be careful who you give all this information to.

I am sure Barrister Moye and President Nikon are trustworthy individuals.

You just don't get titles like that for nothing.

I gave them my children's social security numbers too.

I wanted some of the money to be put in their names so they will be well taken care of.

A mama has to look after her babies.

I must go now.

I have an appointment with a Realtor.

She found me a fabulous Oceanfront lot in Arizona.

I want to be the first to bid on it.

Oh I am so hoping that your realtor is looking in our Arizona town for your ocean front property! We could be neighbors!!! Wooohoooo!

My favorite part, the fact that they need to know what sex you are. Hmmmmm, wonder why that is? Does that then depend on how many of those zeros you will actually see??

Cute post Wendi, and if any of the money does work out, our neighbors behind us are selling there house. I'll let them know you are interested! ;)

You must be one high roller to be getting winnings like that.

Congrats - will the queen be at there when they present you with that giant check?

If only I could be so lucky....

Now you know you now have to confess and repent for playing the lottery.
(hahaha)

Well it's only proper to congratulate you on your incredibly good luck. If you're not needing that Million British pounds I can certainly take it off your hands.

Clearly Britain and Europe in general simply has too much spare cash flying around if we're sending millions of pounds overseas. I may email Mrs Thompson myself!

So congrats on your cool stuff...when you get it let me know and I'll help you spend it :P

Congratulations on your winnings. What an incredibly lucky woman you are. Good thinking to give them all the SS numbers up front, you wouldn't want to delay payment.

Good luck with the ocean front property in Arizona. If that doesn't work out, I would be happy to sell you my ocean front home in Colorado.

I would LOVE to visit you at your new Arizona oceanfront property! Just email me your name, ssn, address, phone number, resume, how many times you used the restroom yesterday, how many kidneys you have and we'll be all set! Hahaha! Nice! And oh yeah, Congrats!

How fabulous! And I'm so glad to hear that you passed along all pertinent information, especially that of your kids ;)

I will be 33 in a month and a half, and whenever I am asked for my social security number, I hear my dad's voice telling me to question everything and not give it out for anything. One of those things that has been drilled into my head for.EVER and he gets so huffy about it too! He's got me semi-paranoid!

Check out my blog when you get a chance because TAG, you're it!

You think you're lucky, I'm apparently related to the Nigerian royal family and didn't even know it! The patriarch just died (so sad) and as a distant relative I've inherited almost 2 million pounds! I think I have to prove first that I am really related, which is why they're asking for my SSN and bank account information. I'm sending all of that along with a DNA sample. But I'm sure once all of that clears I'll be getting my check. I can't wait.

I am cracking up!!! .... but I am a little confused by your good luck because I got the same 2 emails saying that I WAS THE WINNER! Now what is the story with that? Does it mean that we have to share the prize money? I'd better hurry and send them all of my vital info so I'll be sure and get half of the loot.

Emy5 said...

Wow Wendi, share the love and give us all some of your dough, will ya? Mind you, I won't hold my breath.

Krystyn @ Really, Are You Serious? said...

Congrats! You sure are lucky! Funny, that they need all of that information about you, yet they knew you won!

If you have some to spare, you could send a little my way! I'll send you my address, phone number, ssn, credit report, and anything else you might need!

Oh my gosh.... Congrats Wendi. You have the BEST luck.

Now that you are a gazillion-aire I thought it would be a good time to become friends- hee hee.

My mom appreciates all your sweet comments AND the great idea to vent about her AWFUL students. I think being to tell other people is the BEST medicine to having it heal your heart. So thank you for giving her the great idea.
