It's Raining, It's Snowing

Posted by Picasa

Look really closely at these photos.

Do you see something that is not supposed to be there?

No, I know the shrubs need pruning and the yard needs weeding.

Not that.

Squint.

Now turn your head down to the right.

Now look.

Do you see something glistening and white?

That my friends is snow.

Yup, the first of the season.

Probably the first in several seasons.

It may be all the snow I see this year so I took the opportunity to run around in the flurries and snap a few photos.

I know it is hard to see.

I know it looks like a slight case of dandruff falling from the sky.

But I live in the south and we don't see much snow.

Ever.

So I admit I got a little giddy about the flurries.

Is it possible to make just a teaspoon of Snow cream?

You are so lucky! I love snow. Love it!

We don't get any down here, either. I am hoping to see some when we go up to the Midwest for Thanksgiving!

I'm totally not jealous. It was cold enough for snow here, but no precip.

Glad you were able to enjoy it.

Wendi,
That is not called snow (says this Minnesotan) this would be called sleet or frozen rain or maybe hail, but not snow.

Your crazy. LOL~

So, did the schools close down early & did they salt the roads?
Did you run to the store to get milk & bread?

Cause that's what they would do in Rky Mt. ;)

Once I enlarged the picture I could see the snow flurries. Before that, though, I was thinking, this girl must really want some snow. LOL.

*sniff* all of our friends in Virgina got over an inch. I am so happy for you that you got to see dandruff, at least :)

I do love how everyone acted like it was a blizzard and ran to the store to get bread and milk. The first snow(usually only) of the season is always exciting for me. I like snow but only NC snow because it rarely happens and when it does it only lasts about a day!

We have a foot of snow on the ground as I type and expected to get another one. I will take pics for you!

Ok I am really jealous. It is still warm in CA with no hint of cool yet.

Have a wonderful, maybe even snowy, Thanksgiving.... and send a little of that "cold" my way.

Wendi... I love ya girl... but I just don't see it. I squinted, I looked to the right, I even looked again. I don't see it.

When we get dumped on with snow- I will box some up for ya and ship it your way. Utah snow... it's the best snow on earth!
