My Little Picasso

I thought I would share a little fall art from my budding Picasso.

I love anything with his sweet hand prints.

I love this fall tree.

Check out Cole's fine cutting and gluing skills.

Almost on the lines is good...right?

I love it!

This is an interesting interpretation of a Pilgrim.
It is my invitation to the Thanksgiving Program.
I asked Cole why his Pilgrim had so many circles on his face.
He looked at me and said..."Aw Mom the two on either side of his face are ears and the two in the middle are his eyes."
Confused, I continued...." But Cole you have four ears and four eyes, why is that?"
Looking at me as if I had three heads he said, " But Mom you taught me that two plus two is four so I did everything in fours."
"Of course Cole that makes perfect sense."

I love that explanation! Hey, at least he listens to you. :)

Oh, I LOVE your Picasso!!! That pilgrim is brilliant!!!

I so wish I could jump into kids' heads and see the way their minds work. Some of the things Gracie says and does makes me think she is so far above me in the thinking department though, that if I did I probably wouldn't get it.

I love it! The artwork is truly fabulous!

Maybe he wants to SEE and HEAR you there...so he added extra eyes and ears for emphasis!

That top one is a framer! Beautiful and used common sense to boot!

Ha Ha Ha! So he's good at math and not so much at portraits. No biggie!

I love the first one!

What fun motherhood is! ....and from your last post...you do not suck at it. I should know...I'm an expert after all....I taught Child Dev and Parenting for 22 years...but then...don't aked my kids about that.

I saved a lot of my kids cute holiday art and laminated it. For years after they were grown I put it out for display each holiday. fun stuff...
