I am back!
I never told you I was leaving did I?
I had such a crazy week last week that I might have forgotten to mention that I was going away.
To the beach.
Sans kids.
With eight girlfriends.
To scrapbook.
And eat.
And laugh.
Did I mention eat, laugh, or scrapbook?
I almost cancelled at the last minute.
I was exhausted and not feeling up to it.
My husband convinced me I should go.
Thanks honey.
It was exactly what I needed.
I read 100 pages in my new book.
I completed 15 scrapbook pages. ( Long story. I left most of my photos home...ugh!)
I slept past 9:30 two mornings.
I took a shower and didn't get out until I wanted to.
I even shaved my legs and conditioned my hair. Twice.
It is the little things friends.
I only helped cook one meal.
I cleaned up the kitchen once.
I watched one of my favorite movies, "The Notebook". ( Two words: Ryan Gosling)
I didn't do laundry.
I didn't run kids to practices.
I didn't have to break up any arguments.
It was perfect.
Perfect weather, friends, and food.
A perfect weekend.
