SIX LITTLE WORDS

Carrie tagged me for an interesting meme.

It originated here.

Speaking of interesting, I learned from Jamie that meme rhymes with theme.

All this time I thought it was me.me. (as in it is all about ME!)

Thanks for "edumacating" me Jamie!

Back to the meme. (that rhymes with theme)

Here are the rules:

1. Write your own six-word memoir.
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you want.
3. Link it to the person who tagged you and to the place of origin.
4. Tag five more bloggers, with links.
5. Leave them a comment and invite them to play.

I was tagged a week ago.

I have been thinking about it every day.

I have written a dozen or so six-word memoirs.

I will share a few of them with you.

The first one I thought of was:

Beginning each day with a prayer

Which is true.

I need all the help I can get.

My next thoughts were about the joy I experience just being a mom.

Southern Mommy who loves her kids.

Living with laughter, chaos, and love.

My life IS a reality show!

I also thought about my disease.

Which sparked these memoirs.

O C D that is me!

May I alphabetize that for you?

Which brought me to my final memoir and one I think works best for me.

Moments away from a Straight Jacket!

Sadly, I think it fits.

I am going to break the rules a bit here.

Because rules...they are always meant to be broken.

I tag ALL of you.

All of my 3.5 readers.

If you are reading this, consider yourself tagged.

Get writing and let me know if you do this so I can read your memoirs.

I can't wait!

Very funny, it is hard to narrow it down isn't it? So glad you played!

I think it is awesome that we share the same disease! :)

And I am afraid we would share the same memoir as well. Mine might be "seconds away from a straight jacket!" :)

Great post! I love reading more about you and your family.

Now that is a title to a future book if I ever heard one!

Wow...6 words...that one is going to take me awhile...I tend to be a "talker"...it's going to take me awhile to narrow it down.

DOn't know if I could do 6 words.... 16 maybe :)

Very clever and witty...love it!

By the way, yikes on the board game project. I think most high school kids would have trouble with that one, let alone a third grader. Hang in there, May is half over!

Mommy projects something I think I will pass on to be Daddy Projects. He is way smarter than I. By the way, we are back in Snow Hill, living it up with the parents. They are renting right now until they decide on house plans.

Those are great! I may steal the meme "that rhymes with theme".

Wendi, how do I do this?
1 2 3 4 5 6

Was that good enough for my 6 words?

Now that I'm retired I am a slow learner. Have a good day.

Oooh .... I *like* this one. I really do. Thanks for the props, and inspiration for a future post.

I love, "May I alphabetize that for you?"

I like them all!!!

But, I'm with Jamie . . . "May I alphabetize that for you?" is just too cute!

BTW, you clearly have more than 3.5 readers!

As I scurry or "Click-Clack" around my house, I am constantly thinking, "Why did I come in here?" Guess that's my number one meme.

And a few more for me would be:

Calgon, please take me far away!

Now remember, this too shall pass; and. . .

If I could turn back time. . .

But, I would have to end this little post with part of one of my favorite children's songs. . .

"I am glad for many things!"

Great family and friends topping my list!

Love,

Snowbird

Grammy,
"Wendi, How do I do this?" ...you are too funny!

Snow,
I.love.it.
I can so relate to "Why did I come in here?"... that happens to me more often than I care to admit!
I agree with the last one, " I am glad for many things" too! You are somewhere at the top of that list! Thanks for sharing and again...great job!

I got tagged for this one too and I haven't come up with anything I like yet. I think it's a great meme (I learned about meme and theme from Jamie too...I still don't say it right in my head when I read it though), but I am way too wordy so its hard!

I like all of your thoughts...the last one made me laugh. :)

I think you did a great job...I have no idea what I would say.

I went a read about your disease...I am a sufferer as well. With the long weekend coming up you can imagine how I am running myself ragged this week.
