Always glad to get to know more about my Wendi gal.

The grandkids left today. My house is a mess but I haven't run around tonight picking it all up yet. It is kind of fun looking at it and thinking about all the fun we've had since Sunday.

The house is quiet now....and empty except for John who is out working in his wood shop and Heidi who is peacefully snoring by my feet. I made her go in the pool with us today to cool her off and she is pooped.

I used to make my kids clean up one mess before they could start another....but I don't follow that rule as stictly with the grandkids. We have so much fun to have and not enough time....so tomorrow I will put away the tea party, books, puzzles, colors and games and smile as the giggles of my grandkids linger in the air.

Sweet dreams....it is late. Love, Grammy

Wendi I just noticed that you posted this at 1:33 a.m. your time. What are you doing up so late gal? Go to bed and gets some rest....Grammy's orders!

It is 11:35 here and I must rush so I won't turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight...which I might if I'm not in bed by then...(I'm already shaped like a pumpkin but I'm not orange. I am a bit red though after 2 days of being in or around the pool all day with the kids.)

So, good night. Send Cole, Chase and Claire over to my house so you can sleep in. They can help me pick up all the toys before we go in the pool.

Ok - Grammy's right. You blog at the oddest hours (I think you need to stop reading that 48 hr. book).

Next, forget the size 2, I'd love to see a 6.

Lastly, I'd love to complete this meme, however it would take me all day & we've got a broker open house this morning so I really need to run (& vacuum).

Hope you have a great day!

Nice to know more about you...your reading selection is all over the place! I should have included those books when I did mine. We love The Foot Book, here, too!

You must be reading to your children! Sometimes we get so lost in our family and daily life that we "forget" about ourselves. This is a neat little meme to remind you of what you want and what you like! I might try it!

I always love getting to know more about one of my favorite blog buddies!

And now that I have actually talked to you, I can so hear you saying all of that! Is that weird?

And "The Choice". Oh my. I cried, I sobbed, I cried. Cried, Cried, Cried. Loved it! :)

Great meme friend! :)
