My disease is in over drive today.
I am using my mad packing skills too.
I am going on a trip tomorrow with our youth group.
I will be gone for 3 days.
On a bus.
With lots of teenagers.
And hormones.
But I am excited.
It should be fun.
And provide me plenty of blog fodder.
I am pre-posting on Thursday and Friday.
I hope I did it right this time.
But if a Christmas post shows up.
Well... just know I tried.
I wanted to give the illusion that I am home.
And on the computer.
But I won't be.
I won't be visiting or commenting on your blogs.
I am sad too.
I have no laptop. *gasp*
I know... pathetic.
Please send donations to www. ineedalaptopsoicanblogontheroad.com
I am taking a few books.
The Choice by Nicolas Sparks. (my second time reading)
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (my swap partner Aly gave it to me)
Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson.
I would love any other suggestions.
What are a few of your favorites for a road trip?
Hope the rest of your week is a great one.
I will catch up with you, my interpeeps, on Sunday.
Ta! Ta!

Safe travels!! Are you going with Claire or Chase??
Fun, fun, and hoping there is no camping for you! :)
We will miss you!
And brave girl taking along the choice. Seriously, BALLED like a baby in the house. I would hate to see someone watch me lose it like that who didn't live with me! :)
Have a great time, I love that you're 'leaving a light on' persay on the blog!
I'm only into murder mysteries like Patricia Cornwell and Kate Wilhelm, not sure if that's any help!
Have fun! I can't wait to talk about Twilight with you when you get back!!!
Have fun. I love anything by Karen Kingsbury.
I think I suffer from the disease too. My husband laughs at my lists and how obsessive I am about them. Of course he does nothing but make sure the car is ready and has no concept of how hard it is to pack for the entire household and make sure all bases are covered.
Anyway, have a great time. Wish I could suggest some books, but though I love to read I am still catching up with suggestions people gave me before Austin was born. I look forward to hearing about the three you are taking with you!
oh you are a brave woman!!
seriously i couldn't handle the hormones of my fourth grade students!!
although if anyone can have a lovely time with a bunch of teenagers on a bus it's you sister!!
can't wait to hear about your travels :)
Have fun, I am sure you will have a lot to blog about.
Have a great time! And, yes, tons of blog fodder with all of those crazy hormonal teens...I should know...I work with them 2/3rds of the year!
Have a great trip with those youth. I am so excited for you.
You might like the #1 Ladies Detective Agency series.
We are leaving tomorrow to go visit Lynell, Erin and attend John's family reunion in Jacksonhole Wyoming. We will be camping on the Snake River and going white water rafting. I am too old for this but it is tradition and Erin and Patrick insisted we should come. If I die it has been really nice knowing you.
I don't know if I can survive without your comments for several days. I'm addicted to you, you know.
When you get all of the donations to your www. site for a lap top can I have some of the loot? I have a lap top but no internet card or access if I'm on the road. Since you will probably collect millions from all of your faithful readers send a little my way...and I'll get internet service....Thanks
have fun and maybe bring a notebook to write down things to blog about so you dont forget!! We dont want to miss out on any of your life.
On a bus? With teenagers? I wish you much luck. I will say a little prayer for you.
We will miss you while you are away!
Having spent a considerable amount of time with teenagers I am desperate to hear all about it. It is bound to be amusing.
I totally thought the Christmas post was intentional BTW. Just as well I was feeling festive.
I love your label on this post: "Pray for me"
ha ha ha!!! You are a hoot!
have fun!
I'm ssoo jealous.......
I wanted to go on the Palymyra trip, but with 2 babies and a long bus ride, just wasn't going to happen.
Imagine someone being jealous of the long bus trip with lots of teenagers. I must be crazy.
By the way, did you see that Nicholas Sparks has a new book and his movie coming out in Sept? Can't wait!
Where did you go with the youth.
I am amazed by your maaaaaad packing skills! I hope you have a fabulous trip!
I don't have a laptop, either...it is a true crime against humanity...
